HI, I'm Sami, your dedicated private guide and VIP host in the heart of Lapland, Ivalo. I live here with my wonderful family (three kids and a wife).
I was born in Ivalo, but we moved to Southern Finland with my wife and son when
I was 21. We lived there 10 years before we decided to move back to my home town to give our kids chance to live here before they might move to Southern Finland because of studies.
My passion for the outdoors has shaped both my personal and professional life, leading me to pursue a range of adventurous hobbies such as trail running, orienteering, kayaking, biking, hiking, and rope activities. These hobbies not only keep me active and connected to nature but also help me discover new and exciting ways to share the magic of Lapland with my clients. I would love to help you to experience even a small taste of this wonder.
I have a strong background in outdoor experiences from my own hobbies but I have also studied to become an Outdoor Experience Instructor. This comprehensive training has equipped me with various specialized skills and certifications, including
-Rope Work Supervisor,
-Working at Heights,
-Adventure Park Instructor,
-Euro Paddle Pass 2 (EPP2),
-Paddling Instructor,
-Rafting Guide and
-Cross Country Skiing Beginner-Level Instructor.
I'm also a personal trainer and swimming instructor.
With this extensive training, I am well-prepared to lead and guide you safely through a wide range of thrilling as well as the peaceful and relaxing activities in the pristine wilderness of Lapland. I have worked as a sport instructor for the municipality of Inari. I have also been a leader and a volunteer in many children's and youth camps of my church.

From guided kayaking and canoe trips on the serene waters of Inari to exhilarating Aurora hunting expeditions, my goal is to provide you with unforgettable experiences.
